Back in the studio, the artist sits at the potter's wheel, clay waiting to be moulded. Ideas, inspirations, patterns and colours are being put into ideas, and now it is time not to replicate nature, but to transfer the emotion.

From inspiration to form

It is amazing how delicate nature is - the organic flow of shapes, the nuance of textures, not to mention the colors. Even the sounds can reveal it’s deep interconnection within all these forms of pure wander. When I am walking or hiking in the woods, I am always stopping and looking, smelling and touching. It is like time stops and nothing else matters at that moment. Just me watching carrefully Earth breathe. I become small and grand at the same time, just like when I swim in the calm sea, not moving, floating, feeling every move of the water, every underwater sound, leting go…

It’s November and I miss it…I must have been some kind of a sea creature in my past life 🙂

Urban shades and forms

Just as much as I live nature and piece, I enjoy city life and it’s hustle. And those small moments, special connection that I feel on my routes, that become an unexpected source of inspiration.

Shadows playing on ground, the ray of light blinking through the trees, colors that work so perfect together, leaves hanging from the tree that I must touch, signs of the past on old buildings…

Seasons change, and so does the artist's muse. Winter's stark simplicity, spring's vibrant renewal, summer's abundance, and autumn's riot of colours—all find their way into the ceramics.

More than art

Ceramics is more than just art— it’s everlasting dance between the artist and the natural world. Each piece carries a story, a memory of a quiet walk, a wind breeze, or a sunlit morning. When you bring these ceramics into your space, you're not just acquiring objects; you're inviting the spirit of nature and tranquillity of sea into your home. It's a way to infuse a touch of nature into your living—a reminder that amidst the cityscape or countryside, there's room for the organic beauty of outdoor life encapsulated in clay.
